was reading through pojo http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=957048&page=18 and saw this:
if equip hornet and gigamantis to damsel, use hornet effect destroy gigamantis, damnsel effect can trigger twice and you still get the mantis effect! wow! so strong! haha!
maybe many of you would have already know this combo by now, and maybe i am the last to know about it. its ok, good thing to read up again right?haha.
if that is true, that goes to show how long i have been away from yugioh that i simply lost touch of everything.LOL.
ok, back to study. and my previous paper on law was...LOL. i dont know what to say, but hope i can get the result that i want. haha!
the complexity of the law cases and ratios and obiters really made my head spin, so i decided to take a break out and blog about this concept.
Effect: You can Special Summon this card (from your Graveyard) by returning 1 face-up "Dark World" monster you control to the hand, except "Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World". If this card is discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect: Target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target, then, if this card was discarded from your hand to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, look at 1 random card in your opponent's hand, then, if it was a monster, you can Special Summon it to your side of the field.
i was trying to play around this concept of dumping grapha everytime with drill, for some destruction love. so basically a doppel deck becomes an engine that resolves around drill + grapha. after some decking testing, i have the following findings:
Pros:
1. Free destruction as and when u need, provided drill is on field.
2. monster presence is so strong, i played 1 snow and 2 grapha to allow the special summon of grapha by returning snow to hand. if not your grapha will be as good as die when he got milled into grave and you will have to rely on drill to take him back.
3. ideal situation would be having 1 grapha in grave and another 1 on field(special summoned by returning snow) plus snow in hand. grapha protects you with a 2700ATK, as oppose to dandy tokens(when there are still 2 dandys playable, miss those times!) we used to have for protection.
4. reference to point 3, the returning of drill allows you to have an alternative decision. in that you dont have to take back grapha if there is nothing for you to destroy, you can take some other monsters depending on the situation.
cons:
1. hate bottomless, warning, prison etc. you will end up losing advantages after eating all those.
2. dont really have an efficient way to getting this combo to work, more consistent engine needed!
other than that, it is a very interesting concept to play around with, given that dandy had pretty much stagnant. maybe a few minor changes here and there for personal reference, otherwise the main engine is there and the same.
a decklist that im currently playing for you, still need a lot of fixes and mods. comments welcome!
as mentioned, main purpose is to get drill out fast. so jester and fader is there. decree is there to stop all the trap hates!

Was doing so research on the various techs that can be used in a DW deck while preparing for the team tourney, i found this card. LOL. end up my team lost in the qualifier and we dont have the time to go for the main event and this card is still hiding in my drawer somewhere.
so today im sharing it, to provide a possible tech to the already potent theme. i hope we can see some plays of it in the local tournament, be it myself or others. =)
Effect: You can activate this card when you discard from your hand. After that, each time you discard from your hand, your opponent must also discard the same number of cards from his/her hand.
before i go on to show how strong this card is, lets look at its rulings, taken from jap wiki:

A:このカードが既に表側表示になっている場合は、相手の手札を捨てさせます。
ですが、コストとして捨てた場合このカードをセット状態から表側表示にすることはできません。
(捨てる行為で処理が終わらないため)
Q: If I threw a hand as a cost, this card can I fire?
A: If the card is already face-this, causing the other hand is discarded.
But to make this card set to face-state case can not be discarded as a cost.

A:はい。《強制接収》の効果は重複します。

Q: "hand wipe" when using "forced takeover" effect or apply?
Also, if applied, makes you discard your hand or against a person before you draw a card, or do after you draw?
A: The effect is applied, after a series of processing is completed, causing the cumulative number of minutes discarded.
how good it is:
1. after this card is face up, no matter how you discard, even if it is a cost.like your dark world gate, when you discard, your opponent must also discard. can you imagine doing it every single turn to your opponent?
2. it is STACKABLE! yes! it stacks! means you play 3, your opponent discards 3 for every 1 card you discard.
3. u use card destruction or morphing jar. your opponent draw discard whole hand first, draw 5(assume), then discard that 5 cards that were drawn. basically, it is total hand destruction.LOL.
4. works with all DW cards when activated, such as dealing, thunder, dragged down etc. meaning you can potentially discard all their cards in hand, as they have to discard 1 more card due to forced requisition after resolving the respective effect from dealing, thunder etc.
the only drawback and also the most irritating part is how to get it activated. because you cannot activate it when you discard for a cost, but luckily cards like dealing and thunder can trigger its initial activation.
