Countering Infernity!

Infernity is an irritating yet devastating deck. Especially in the OCG where trishula lives, and losing your field, hand and grave in one turn is not fun at all. Though you can counter it with dust tornado, royal oppression, raioh, crack from different dimension, d.d.crow, activating the right cards at the right moment is the key to fully counter this deck.

Effect: When this card is normal summoned, it is changed to defense position. While you have no cards in your hand, this card gains the following effect: Once per turn, you can special summon 1 "infernity" monster from your graveyard, except "Infernity Necromancer".

Effect: When you have no cards in your hand and draw this card, you can reveal it to special summon it. When this card is special summoned, if you have no cards in your hand, you can add 1 "infernity" card from your deck to your hand.

Effect: While you have no cards in your hand, you can tribute this card to special summon up to 2 "Infernity Beetle" from your deck.

I have posted the 3 main monster cards to doing the trishula loop, and the key card to thwart the loop lies in book of moon!I will list two ways of doing this loop, and book of moon plays an important part to stop it, or at least hinders the loop to a large extend.

CASE 1
infernity gun special summons beetle and necromancer, now, opponent wishes to use the ignition effect of necromancer to special summon archfiend. You MUST now, book of moon its beetle when opponent wishes to use necromancer's effect. resulting in him having no tuners on the field to perform a synchro summon.

CASE 2
infernity gun special summons beetle and necromancer, opponent wishes to use the ignition effect of beetle, to special summon 2 more beetle. you MUST now book of moon the necromancer, to stop its ignition effect to special summon the archfiend and start the loop.

CASE 3
infernity gun special summons beetle and archfiend, you MUST now chain book of moon to archfiend's trigger effect on beetle before it is too late to do so, because the trigger effect of archfiend, "eats" up his priority to activate the ignition effect of beetle.and most likely in this case, even if you let him fetches the gun from the deck (which cant be stopped anyway, unless you divine wrath its archfiend), there will be two more beetles in his deck, thereby having no tuners on field, you successfully stopped their loop.

of course, there may be other cases, but the principle still stays the same, do not wait until he fetches whatever he requires and then you book of moon the tuners. it will be too late by then and he would want to tribute his beetle for 2 more beetles.and 1 book of moon will not be sufficient.
